Christmas Degustabox

It's always quite exciting when the seasonal Degustabox arrives, especially the Christmas edition. It was bound to be full of festive kinds of goodies for the family. If you are new to Degustabox, it is a monthly, surprise food subscription service. You get a box full of new food and drink items every month, delivered straight to your door.

The brands included in this months box are ..

Butterkist, Hartley's, Pipers Crisps, Christian Potier Sauce, Ryvita, Jules Destrooper, J20, The Good Cider, Appy Kids Co, Michel et Augustin, Broderick's, Ahmad Tea.

I was really happy with the contents of this months Degustabox. There where quite a few new food items which I knew I would use. My kids loved the Appy Kids Co The Gruffalo Apple Juice, and the Butterkist popcorn's -the Choc Mallow flavour was delicious, I had my eye on that for a while.. so that was a welcome addition.
The only thing I was a bit 'meh' about was more Ryvita, I seem to get these a lot! I was quite happy to see the Christian Potier Hollandaise sauce, I made a home made eggs benedict - Poached eggs, with deli ham and spinach on toasted muffins, with the Christian Potier sauce on top, it was delicious. I have tried other ready made hollandaise sauce and I have never liked any so far, but that one was amazing. I will need to keep an eye out for some more.

The star of the box has to be the Broderick's Crunchy Slam-Dunk Peanut chunk bar. This is a handmade rice crispy peanut butter bar, i had no idea it was going to taste so good! I wasn't very well when this months box came and my other half was eyeing up this bar (we do love a bit of peanut butter here) i said he could have it but had to save me a bite. He loved it! and after trying i was like 'oh my word! why did i let him have most of it' haha. I need to find out where to buy these from ASAP! DELICIOUS!

I was really intrigued by the Michel et Augustin dark chocolate and sea salt cookies, they where quite nice and the salt really compliments dark chocolate.

I am still yet to try the Ahmad Tea Strawberry Velvet Cake tea bags, i'm not usually a fruit tea drinker to be honest, but i think i will be giving these a try.
My little boys love the glitter Hartley's jelly, these are a great idea for Christmas. Degustabox have included a glitter snow globe jelly recipe which looks pretty cool.

If you fancy trying one of these boxes for yourself, Degustabox have kindly offered all of my readers £7 off your first box using the code (VNAJG) at checkout.
