I seem to be getting more and more into my skincare at the moment, and finding the right products that work for my skin has been tough, but I have discovered a few gems recently and this Roger & Gallet Double - Extract serum is one of them.
I have only been using this for a few weeks, but to be honest It was love at first use.
First off, the packaging is beautiful, and so unique. It comes in a pretty, chic white box and a luxurious feeling glass bottle. I think it looks pretty enough to keep on your dresser. As roger and Gallet are a French skincare brand, the packaging certainly carries of this kind of vibe.
One of the best things about this Roger and Gallet serum is the fact it has a unique 2 serum (bi-phase) parts which you have to shake to mix, you may see in the picture above it has this really cool glass spiral in the centre of the bottle.
Once mixed you screw off the lid and you can literally tip the whole bottle upside down and only the perfect amount of serum for your face will come out. That part really impressed me!
There is nothing worse than pouring out too much expensive face serum, or if some skincare newbies are unsure of how much to use this would be good too. There is a name for this dropper method called Distill’dose which dispenses the right amount of product while preserving ingredients. clever eh?
The Double - Extract serum contains a concentrated blend of 18 distilled officinal plants, which revive and restore the look of youthful skin which has 95% natural ingredients and is paraben free. The second part of the serum is crafted from water and distilled essences, which work together to smooth and protect.
I have been using this product every morning after cleansing and toning, it already makes such a difference to the way my face looks and feels. I really enjoy applying it, the smell is gorgeous and spa like but not overly strong. It absorbs into my skin instantly, without leaving it feeling greasy. Straight away my skin looks more radiant, plumper and feels so soft. I have found since using this my makeup base has been looking flawless too, so much so I feel I don't even need a makeup primer as much-. I honestly don't think I have loved a day serum as much as this one, think I'm going to have to try more of Roger & Gallet's range now.
