November Birchbox X Tatler

This month Birchbox have teamed up with the high fashion magazine Tatler, they have designed the most gorgeous looking box with a peacock feather design. Everything in this months box is to get you set for the festive party season.

I have been subscribed to Birchbox for ages now, and still get excited when it turns up. What's not to love about a beauty surprise coming to your door every month? especially when they look this stylish!

The products included in this months box are.....

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics - Lip Tar Primer
I have never used a lip primer before, so I am intrigued to see if it helps with the longevity of lipsticks. This lip primer by OCC preps lips before a lip colour but also treats them at the same time which is pretty cool. It contains Vitamin E, Hemp and Peppermint oil, to soothe and hydrate your lips.
I'm yet to try this under a lip colour but I am enjoying using this after using a lip scrub, I especially love the peppermint scent to it.

RRP £15

Nuxe - Crème Prodigieuse
I love myself a bit of French skincare, and with Nuxe being such a cult brand I was excited to try this out. The Nuxe Crème Prodigieuse is an anti-fatigue moisturiser, packed with blue everlasting flower, to boost skins antioxidant levels, restore hydration and boost tired skin.
This is probably a moisturiser my other half will be pinching again, he loves his anti-fatigue ones. So I can imagine this one would be good for both men and women.

RRP £21

High Definition - Brow Define in 'Vamp' (full size product!)
High Definition is a new brand to me, and I cant remember the last time I used a brow pencil either, I always stick to my trusty brow pomades. But I thought I would give it a shot anyway, and I actually really like it. The colour 'Vamp' is an ashy dark brown shade, almost exact to my ABH dip brow one in 'dark brown'. So well done there Birchbox!
The pencil is nicely pigmented and the tip allows you to draw out hair-like strokes, creating a more natural brow with ease. The formula doesn't drag like some pencils can, I think that's what puts me off usually.
I'm really impressed with this, and love using this especially through the front of my brows. It even comes with a built in sharpener!

RRP £18

Wet Brush - Midi Wet Brush (Full Size Product!)
This comes in various colours and I received the silver one, the Wet Brush is supposed to make light work of combing through unruly hair thanks to it's extremely thin, strong IntelliFlex® Bristles. I tend to use this on wet hair after I have put on my hair oil, I find this works well to distribute the product evenly through my hair. I don't normally like brushing my hair too much when it's wet, as I've heard it isn't good for your hair to do so. But I find this brush isn't as hard on my hair as a comb would be, and really helps get rid of knots without ripping and breaking strands.

RRP £11.99

Darphin - Rose Aromatic Care
This Darphin rose facial oil is supposed to be used in your night time skincare routine. Darphin have Infused this with essential oils to help relax and calm you, while feeding your skin with softening and nourishing ingredients such as sweet almond oil, and Rose Hip.
This facial oil is quite a thicker one than I'm used to, but is extremely hydrating and softening for sure! It does have quite a strong rose scent to it, which I don't mind but if you are sensitive to scents you may not like this.

RRP £45
