October Birchbox

This months Birchbox theme is 'What's your sign?' At Birchbox they created a few different box designs around your astrological sign. You could get one of 4 designs - Water, Fire, Air, Earth. The box isn't just a basic Birchbox either it is now a handy little draw which I think is way better as they are great for stashing away your beauty products. This months astrological box also glows in the dark!

My star sign is Aries so I was sent the Fire box. Every box this month also contains one full size make-up product too which is fab.

I was so impressed with the contents of this months box! here is what I got...

Oribe - Dry Texturizing Spray
I was SO excited when I spotted this, a few days before this box came I was considering buying it from the Birchbox E-shop, it is crazy expensive (£39) full size and didn't really fancy blowing that kind of money on a hair spray ya know? so it was brilliant I got to try a min size in this first.
The Oribe Dry Texturizing spray is part dry shampoo, part texturiser. which will ad instant lift to your locks if you haven't washed your hair in a day or two. But £39 full size !!? jeesh I'm not sure any hairspray is worth that...then there are always saved Birchbox points?  I'll have to see if it is really that good.

Full Size - £39

Lord & Berry - Maxi Matte Crayon Lipstick 'Intimacy'
This is basically a giant lip liner that you can fill your lips in with. Matte lips are everywhere right now and I have a feeling this shade will be one so many of you will like.
I love the colour -'Intimacy' is a pretty, dusty, rose pink and it is actually a really nice product with great pigment. I say that sounding surprised because I'm not usually blown away by Lord & Berry as a brand, maybe I just haven't given them a proper chance, but I will actually use this. Some crayons I've tried like this feel very dry and drag on the lips, this Lord & Berry one is very comfortable and glides on smoothly.

Doux Me - Pure Spring Mist
This brand is a new one to me, I always like a nice water mist so I knew I would get good use out of it. I like using these water mists to refresh my skin if I'm feeling a bit hot and flushed. They are soothing on the skin while giving it hydration at the same time.
This one by Doux Me is a mineral rich water which is good to be used before your moisturiser for extra skin hydration.

Full Size - £16

NKD SKN- Gradual Glow Daily Tan Moisturiser
I have already tried quite a few products from this brand and I think they are great. At the moment I have been using the in shower gradual tan by NKD SKN which is lovely, so this along with the Moisturiser should intensify my tan a little more which I need to try out.
The Gradual tanning rage from NKD Skin give a more natural glow then your usual tanning lotion/ mousses. The more often you apply, the deeper the tan.

Full Size - £10

Number 4 - Fluro5 Elixer Restore & Repair Oil
I always like trying out a new hair oil, so I'm looking forward to giving this one a go. This is a nourishing elixir which transforms dull hair into sleek and shiny locks. With my frizzy out of control hair, sleek and shiny is just what I need. I have had smell of this and it is flippin' lovely, I'm terrible at describing scents but it kind of reminds me of a vanilla musk.

Full Size - £18

Birchbox Extra - Eyebrow Brush
Because you always need an eyebrow brush Birchbox threw one of these in. They always come in handy don't they, and I always end up loosing mine for some reason. Nice groomed, editorial brows are huge right now too!

Get all of this for just £12.95 a month HERE inc p&p.

What do you think of this months Birchbox? Have you tried any of these products? I would love to hear your thoughts.
