NEW : La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo [+] Unifiant - Review

I have been a fan of the La Roche-Posay original Effaclar Duo for years now and constantly re-purchase. It works wonders on blemish prone skin like mine. It helps reduce the appearance of scaring, prevents breakouts and unclogs pores. Plus you can't really go wrong with good ol' French Pharmacy skin care can you?
Recently I was offered a chance to review the new Effaclar Duo (+) Unifiant, which has the same amazing qualities as the original version we all know and love, but with added coverage.
Perfect for those no makeup-makeup days.

What I love about this product is the fact I can just wear this alone and not worry about putting on a foundation as the coverage is actually pretty darn good for a tinted skincare product. On days when I have particularly bad skin I can look after it keeping it free from makeup, while still getting a bit of coverage and evening out my skin tone which helps me feel a little more confident. This product is perfect for those with sensitive skin too.

I like how the product comes with a tiny nozzle as you can get out a nice amount of product and not get it all over the place.

The Effaclar Duo (+) Unifiant comes in 2 shades Light and Medium. I have the shade light, it is quite fair for me but once rubbed into the skin it looks fine. The formula is so lightweight it sinks into the skin fast. It also feels lovely and refreshing when you apply it.

As you can see once blended into the skin it looks really good, it smooth's everything out, and evens out the skin tone.
Also, if you have any redness from spots or scarring on your face it hides this really well.
It gives a matte finish too which is good for me as I can get quite oily in the t-zone area.

If like me you suffer from breakouts, I really recommend giving the La Roche-Posay Effclar Duo a try.
It's now an award winning product which can visibly reduce redness and imperfections in just 24 hours, after 8 days severe imperfections are reduced then after 4 weeks pores are unclogged, skin texture is refined and oily areas become more regulated.

As I said before, I have been using this product for over a year, just not this tinted version. it really has helped my skin - i get less breakouts, but when i do this tube of wonder helps heal them perfectly, previous scarring looks way better and my skin is just generally fresher looking.

This along with the La Roche-Posay Serozinc mattifying mist toner is a blemish fighting, match made in heaven! I'm never without a can of that either!

At the moment the site Escentual have the Effaclar Duo (+) Unifiant on offer for £14 (HERE) which is a bargain - RRP (£16.50) 40ml
The people at Escentual are a right lovely bunch too, they are always happy to help with any skincare questions i have on twitter (@escentual). They have introduced me to so many new skincare products i would have never thought of trying and now love!
