So Eco and Real Techniques Bold Metals Arched Powder Brush review

I was contacted a few weeks back by the lovely people at Makeupbrushes.co.uk asking if I would like to try some of the So Eco range of brushes. I had never heard of this brand before so I thought it would be nice to give them a try along with a beautiful Real Techniques Arched powder brush from the bold metals collection.

The website stocks lots of amazing brands, including the popular Red Cherry false lashes that I'm dying to try.

I got to choose which brushes I fancied from the So Eco brush range and I went for the Multi Tasking brush as I thought I could use it to buff in foundation or other cream products. The people at Makeupbrushes.co.uk also kindly threw me in a eye brush set to try.

The So Eco multi tasking brush is so soft and dense which makes it a dream to blend in cream products! I love the style of this brush range too with the bamboo style handles. As the brand name So Eco suggests, they are eco friendly with recyclable packaging while being hand crafted and ethically sourced.

The So Eco Multi tasking brush retails for £7.50 HERE

The SO Eco eye brush kit is very cute and perfect for travel as the little roll up bag that's included keeps your brushes all together and clean. This set includes ...
  • Brow Brush
  • Liner Brush
  • Lash Comb
  • Fine Liner Brush
  • Shadow Brush
I get the most use from the brow brush in this set, as I just think its the perfect size. I am still yet to try the liner brush as I do find the brush to be rather thick for creating a neat liner flick, although I think if you wanted to smoke your liner out using a shadow instead of a liquid eyeliner this would work great.

The So Eco eye brush set retails for £12.50 HERE

I think so So Eco brushes are a great brush to try if you are a makeup beginner, they are great quality brushes and an amazing price point.

The other brush I chose was the Real Techniques arched powder brush from the gorgeous bold metals collection.

I'm already a fan of the Real Techniques brushes and own a few of them from this collection too so I knew this would be a winner.
Just look at that stunning packaging, the sleek long gold handles and super soft brush are to die for.
I use this brush to set my makeup with powder and sometimes to bronze up my face. The flat style of this brush make it easer to get more precision once turned on it's side.

These aren't the cheapest of brushes but if you fancy a bit of luxury in your makeup bag these are a must have and I really recommend them.

RRP - £25.00 now £22.50 HERE

Makeupbrushes.co.uk is a brilliant site which caters to all your brush needs under one roof, they also offer free first class delivery with certain purchases.

Have you tried So Eco Brushes? What are your thoughts?
