September Favourites

Recently I have gotten way more into skincare, I have been looking for good, new skincare products to try, and since I've adjusted my routine my skin has never looked better. Two of the products in this months favourites have been a key factor in this and I'm so glad I've discovered them.
The other products included are also quite new releases and I instantly fell in love, hence why I think they deserved a spot in my monthly favourites!

Charlotte Tilbury - Magic Foundation (shade 3)
As soon as this got released a few weeks back I had to have it there and then. Picking a shade to match me was hard, and a bit of pot luck really but luckily shade 3 matched my paler skin days perfectly, just as well we are out of summer now I guess.
The packaging is gorgeous, just what you would expect from Charlotte Tilbury and the finish is beautiful! it's  medium to full coverage and makes your skin look natural and healthy looking - no cake face here!
I also love the fact that Charlotte Tilbury has tried to make this foundation as good for your skin as possible by adding skincare benefits to it, a lot of foundations break me out but this hasn't!

O.P.I Nail Polish - Tiramisu for Two
This O.P.I nail polish is from their newest Venice collection, i am always on the look out for that perfect elegant nude nail polish and i think I've found it!
O.P.I have always been my favourite brand of nail polish, the formula, the brush, the finish everything about it is perfect.
I love the name of this polish too- Tiramisu for two.. it's a pretty crème nude with some slight mauve undertones in there too, which make it super flattering against my skin tone. You may have seen me wearing it a number of times on my instagram photos @zoelou_ .

Urban Decay - Matte Revolution Lipstick - 1993 & Stark Naked
These lipsticks are rather new to Urban Decay and being a sucker for matte lipsticks I just had to try them didn't I?
I said on twitter a few weeks back that I was tempted to try them and a few people said they heard they where pretty drying on the lips. I know mattes are known for doing that so i thought that i would see for myself and give them a swatch when i went to a local UD counter. The colour selection is just beautiful, i ended up walking away with two shades 1993, which is a 90's brown shade, and Stark Naked which is a lovely wearable nude that don't give you those corpse looking lips.

The texture of these are actually amazing and like no other matte lipstick I have tried.
They are not drying at all, and they aren't completely matte to start with either but it does start to dry more matte.
I may post about these separate, including swatches soon if anyone's interested? I'm tempted to pick up the shade 'Blackmail' next which is a very dark purple almost black shade.

PMD - Personal Microderm
I will not write too much on this today as i plan to do whole review on it. This device is amazing- this PMD Microdermabrasion device is like a little facial hoover that sucks tiny bits of skin over your face while exfoliating the top layer to promote a healthy new layer. This has totally changed the way my skin looks in just 4 weeks! any spot scarring I had has reduced quite a bit, the texture of my skin is way better, pores look smaller and I've had way less breakouts.
They do this kind of procedure in Clinics and it costs hundreds of pounds, but thanks to PMD you can have the treatment in the luxury of your own home while saving a fortune.

Oskia - Renaissance Cleansing Gel
I have always wanted to try this, after all' its one of those much hyped products in the blogosphere isn't it!
I wanted to see what the fuss was about, like all these over hyped products out there, curiosity gets the better of me.
But i have to say it is well worth the hype- it has a very light rose scent to it, a handy pump to save mess and the thick gel feels like a treat to your face. Once you start massaging it in your skin it turns to a hydrating oil which breaks down makeup easily, then add a little water and wipe with a muslin cloth..your skin will never look so glowing and radiant! I use this morning and night, I love how soft and hydrated my skin feels after too.

What products have you been enjoying recently? Have you tried any of these? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for reading,

Love Zoe x
