Yet another amazing Birchbox choice this month! Subscibers got a chance to choose between two boxes, the Stylist one or Back to Basics. When I got my email on the box options I was over the moon with the contents in each one.
I thought that this month Birchbox have really taken on board things and giving much more of a range of products/brands such as the cult classic Bioderma, Seche Vite and Regenerate.
This will be my 4th year as a subscriber to birchbox, that just shows how fond I am of the company! they never let me down and are always producing the best boxes and collaborations.
The first box I have to show you is...
This box was hand picked by Stylist magazine's beauty editor Joanna McGarry - So this Stylist box is bound to be full of amazing working beauty products.
Here is what's inside!
100% Pure - Fruit Pigmented Lip Glaze - Full Size
I have never heard of, or seen this product around before. The packaging is pretty unique for a lip product, Its in a cardboard tube you pull off to reveal the sleek silver lipstick inside...its pretty cute!
Its also formulated with cocoa butters and avocado (I love me a bit of avo). So this lipstick is not only a pretty, matte, brown/nude shade but it also moisturises like a lip balm leaving your lips soft and smooth. Perfect for the colder months, and even more of a bonus to find a matte lipstick that actually doesn't dry out the lips!
£19 full size
Bioderma - Sensibio H20
Now this product is a bit of a cult one isn't it?! I use this already but the little version in this box is a perfect little travel addition.
I love to use Bioderma after cleansing to remove any last traces of makeup, it's gentle and very effective.
£10.20 full size
Parlor - By Jeff Chastain-Smoothing Blowout Spray
This is a hair tonic that fights against frizz while protecting you hair from heat damage and making it more manageable..It even is supposed to help hold a style for longer.
Sounds like a pretty nifty little product so I cant wait to try this out, especially as my hair frizzes up with any moisture in the air.
£17 full size
Rituals - Yogi Flow Foaming Shower Gel
This is one of the products from this box I was really excited to try, I had seen this about for ages and heard its really lovely.
I have liked every product from Rituals I've tried so far so I know this isn't going to let me down. When you squirt this out the can it comes out as a gel, but as soon as it mix with water it creates a lovely, luxurious, rose-scented foam.
£8.50 full size
When - Travelmate Sheet Mask
This refreshing sheet mask is supposed to lock in moisture, perfect for a long haul flight or too much time in the sun (fat chance here in the UK). I shall be using this tonight I think, my face can do with a bit of a moisture hit.
I may have to do it when the kids are asleep as I think I may give them a fright wearing a sheet mask.. pretty creepy looking things aren't they?!
£25 for a pack of 4
Beauty Bonus- English Laundry - No.7 Signature for her
I have actually received this before, quite a few boxes ago. It's nice, but not my kind of thing. They describe the scent as fresh laundry on a summers day. It is a very fresh scent and something you could wear everyday. I cant say I would personally buy this full size, although I would pop it in my handbag if I needed freshening up.
£60 full size
Back To Basics Box
This box is all about refreshing and refuelling your beauty regime.
Here's what's inside ...
Eyeko - Fat liquid Eyeliner in Black - Full Size
I have tried the slim eyeliner like this and I did really like it, the nib on this is much more chunky to give a bit more of a dramatic winged liner look.
Personally I prefer a thin line on my upper lash line as my eyes are pretty small.. if I did a big thick line it would look like I coloured my whole lid in with it.
But I will give it a go and see if I can achieve a smaller line with it, just because I love how black it is and that it lasts ages without smudging.
£12 full size
Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat
This is thee best topcoat on the market in my opinion! I was so happy to see this in the box. I have literally gone through bottle and bottle of the stuff, and I wont use anything else for a topcoat - nothing makes my nails as glossy quite like it and dries it SO fast! Putting this Seche Vite topcoat over any manicure is bound to make it look like you have just been to a nail salon for gels.
If you haven't tried this you need to, you wont look back!
£9 full size
Bioderma - Hydrabio H20
Same as the other box but for a different skin type. This one is more suited for people with drier skin so it keeps it hydrated as well as gently cleansing. I haven't tried this one yet but it does appeal to me the most.
£10.20 full size
Regenerate - Enamel Science Advanced Toothpaste
This is one pretty swish sounding toothpaste, I was really looking forward to trying this! I have seen it about but its pretty pricey, that's why Birchbox is great to have so you can try these things before making the commitment.
This minty fresh toothpaste is supposed to protect against cavities, while whitening your smile and restoring early signs of enamel erosion. I have been using this for a few days now and I love how much cleaner my mouth feels and my teeth are looking a little whiter already.
£10 full size
Beaver Professional Moisturising Shampoo & Hydro Nutrive Conditioner
This gentle shampoo works at repairing damaged hair, and the gentle formula contains avocado oil and aloe vera - while the Conditioner tames by calming down fizzy/ frazzled hair to leave it soft and smooth.
I'm excited to try these as the ingredients sound like they will do amazing things to my hair. I shall be popping the hair mask on tonight along with the When face mask for a pamper session tonight...hurrah!!
Shampoo £11.50 - Conditioner £12.00 full size
Two amazing boxes, but which one takes your fancy? I would have to say my pick is the Back to Basics one as it contains my beloved Seche Vite, Bioderma and the Regenerate toothpaste I wanted to try.
