Tanning Tuesdays - Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan Mousse (Dark)

This week on the new Tanning Tuesdays series I have decided to review this 1 hour tan mousse by Cocoa Brown.

Cocoa Brown are becoming more and more popular by the day it seems - with well known celebrities supposedly being fans of the brand too such as Kyle Jenner.
I have reviewed this brand on my blog before HERE.. this was my review of their original tanning mousse which I love as well as their scrub and moisturiser.

This tanning mousse is in the new darker shade to give that deep bronze glow.

The packaging of Cocoa Brown is just all kinds of pretty girlyness and is really eye-catching on the shelf! you'll never miss this in the shop with its bright pink packaging.
The mousse comes in a handy aerosol type can which makes the tan inside come out as a nice frothy mousse.. unlike some I have tried like this where it actually comes out watery.

Application -
Before using this I prep my skin with the Cocoa Brown The Tough Stuff exfoliator for an even application then I go ahead apply my tan with a tanning mitt using circular motions. With this you can see where you have applied the product already as it tints the skin, and dry's instantly.. it's fool-proof and I would recommend this for the tanning beginner too!

I love the fact this gets to work in just an hour, when you wash it off you are left with a gorgeous deep bronze tan that looks totally natural.
Plus it doesn't smell like biscuits what-so-ever....bonus!

The Results -

Overall I love the result, I think the darker shade is great for me right now as I already have a slight tan from my holidays. Dark tans usually scare me a little as I never want to be so dark that it looks weird and un-natural on my skin tone - this just works so well for me and Cocoa Brown can never do no wrong in my eyes.
This tan also lasts for a good week while it fades perfectly, and you are not left with weird coloured tan blotches everywhere.

They have done it and got all 5's across the board, well done Cocoa Brown!! will another tan do just as well? we will see next week...

For me this is the perfect tan and I can't fault it -  I have recommended it to so many people, it's perfect for beginners and has a brilliant price point of £7.99 for 150ml HERE.

Have you tried Cocoa Brown or the 1 hour dark tan mousse? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for reading,

  4. I love this tanner it's such amazing value for money, though my nozzle (is that the right word?) got stuck halfway through using the bottle so I had to throw it away, but it was still worth it. It definitely compares to the St Tropez Express that I'm using right now :)

  5. Your tan looks amazing! I'm always a bit scared to use proper fake tan as I had an awful streaky experience in the past! I tend to stick to gradual tanner!
