Rituals - Ayurveda Scrub

If you are a regular reader you will know I'm a fan of a good ol' body scrub. I got this Rituals Ayurveda scrub in my latest Birchbox, and it completely blew me away so I just had to shout about it to you guys.
This isn't your basic scrub, it's exfoliating, purifying and can be used as a body mask (this excited me the most).
The sample of this was a pretty generous 70ml but I shall be savouring it till I buy it full size, and here is why I will be purchasing full size...

To start with, the packaging is so gorgeous and luxurious looking, with the brown tube and striking pink text... along with the cute little mandala print in the middle!

When I got this months Birchbox, this Rituals product instantly drew me in.. I haven't tried much from the brand but after using this I really must.
When I first went to use it I wasn't expecting it to look like a clay face mask would - slightly thick and grey in colour.

It contains Indian Rose and mineral rich Purifying Multani Clay which helps remove dead skin cells.
I apply this to damp skin while I am in the shower and rub it on in circular motions, I then leave it on for 5 minutes to use as a body mask.
The scent that fills your bathroom is just gorgeous and somehow really lifts your spirits, I used this earlier in a right grumpy state and after using this I felt so much better and energised.
I can't quite put my finger on what it smells like but it's a sexy one- slightly minty and musky yet a little floral.

This scrub has teeny beads to exfoliate while the consistency is still very creamy so its not too harsh, but if you did want a bit more of a scrub you could use it on dry skin instead of damp.

After I have left it on for 5 minutes I washed it off and my skin feels amazing!!! a little tingly, soft and smelling delicious. I can imagine this scrub would be excellent if you suffer from breakouts on your body as clay is great at drawing out impurities.

Available from the Birchbox E-Shop HERE £10 150ml

Have you tried anything from Rituals? do you have a favourite? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for reading,

Love Zoe x
