The other day while I was browsing in lush I came across this hot oil hair treatment on a stick - I was pretty intrigued by it so immediately popped it in my basket. As I haven't seen this product before (think it's new?) I thought I would review it for you guys.
There where 3 different hot oil hair treatments to choose from, Damaged - the one I got, Kinky for curly hair and Tangled to de-tangle and soften.
It was quite pricey for just one application, but if it works, every once in a while wont hurt. I chose the Damaged version as I wanted something that could help make my hair feel healthy and shiny. I liked the fact that it has vanilla as an ingredient, I love that scent! it also has avocado which I bloody love on anything, on my toast or in my hair I really don't care.
This hair treatment is also enriched with lovely shine enhancing almond oil and extra virgin olive oil, which is bound to do nothing but good things to your hair.
To use this I just followed the instructions and used an old, black plastic lush pot I already had lying about..
I put in the hot oil stick and poured on tiny amounts of boiling water adding it little by little while stirring to melt the product.

Removing this from my thick, medium length hair wasn't the easiest as it kind of starts to dry on your hair. So after rinsing id definitely recommend shampooing as it says to remove all traces of product.
when I started to blow dry my hair I couldn't believe how much softer and thicker my hair felt. It really gave that bounce and much needed life back to my hair.
It's never felt so soft honestly! and if you suffer from dry hair like me this would be amazing for you, I shall definitely be treating my locks to one of these at least once a month an may even try Tangled next.
