Happy New Year to you all,
This month Birchbox have teamed up with Women's Health, and it's such a great box! As a regular reader of Women's Health magazine I knew this box was going to be right up my street.
Birchbox have the right idea with this box, seen as people like myself may have slightly over-indulged in the festive season and now want to feel fit and healthy again, this little box of goodies are sure to help you on your way..just like the theme of the box suggests 'HIT REFRESH'.
I Have just started this Insanity workout DVD by Shaun T, if you have never heard of it before is a pretty intense workout programme that lasts 2 months, I know I am going to experience some aches and pains throughout so getting these little bits (Activbod shower gel and HealGel) included in this months box is great.
What's Inside ...
Stila - Lip Glaze (Full Size)
I have never tried a Stila gloss before, and I have heard they are quite good so I was happy to see this addition. I'm not usually one for lip glosses but I'm happy to give it a shot, the shade included is a pretty neutral pink colour too which I like.
Full Size £15
Phillip Kingsley - Body Building Conditioner
Ooop I get it Birchbox...'Body Building Conditioner' they really think about their themes don't they!? I love Phillip Kingsley hair products, but haven't tried this yet so I was chuffed to see this in my box...plus I had just ran out of conditioner the day I got this - what a life saver!.
This conditioner is supposed to help tame flyaways and give more body to your hair, while leaving it soft and shiny.
Full Size £19
Caudalie - Vinoperfect Radiance Serum
This is an oil free serum that claims to even skintone, boost radiance and moisturise for a glowing complexion. I cant wait to give this a proper try, because who doesn't want lovely glowing skin? I just hope this serum along with my healthy eating plan and new exercise regime are going to work wonders for my skin.
Full Size £45
HealGel - Body
I have always been curious about the HealGel products but the price has put me off to be honest. Getting a sample of this is amazing, so I can see if it actually works for me and if its worth the splurge, this is one of the reasons I love Birchbox when they add a sample that you may have had your eye on.
This HealGel body is a lightweight lotion that has anti-inflammatory properties to calm the skin, it contains arnica which is known for it's healing properties.
Full Size £39.50
ActivBod - Feel Great Shower Concentrate
I used this after my workout today, when I shower after exercising I like to use a shower gel that has a more uplifting scent to it, to make me feel more refreshed and energized.
This was a welcome addition to my shower today as it had a nice zesty scent and felt, lovely and cooling on my skin.
This shower concentrate includes sea minerals, green tea and almond oil to keep your skin cleansed yet soft.
Full Size £5
Embrace Matcha - Green Tea
Is it just me or is Matcha Tea the new 'in' health drink? I'm seeing it everywhere right now. I really like green teas so I am pretty curious about this one, it's said to be 100% natural with 10 times more antioxidants than regular green tea.
Full Size £24.99
Lifestyle Extra - Birchbox Pilates Band
I don't own a Pilates Band, and I think incorporating this as well as weights in my workout would be great to add more resistance to certain moves. This was a great little bonus! plus its pink.
Also included in this months Birchbox is a Women's Health magazine subscription offer which is exclusive to Birchbox, and a little booklet that gives you 12 bite-sized challenges towards your new hitting refresh challenge.
All of this for just £12.95 a month at www.birchbox.co.uk
What do you think of this months Birchbox? Do you have any health/ fitness goals for 2015?
Thanks for reading,
Love Zoe x
