November Favourites

This months favourites consist of quite a few new discoveries, they are just some things I instantly fell in love with and have really been enjoying using recently.

First up is ...

Nails Inc - Nail Polish Remover Pot
This is similar to the Bourjois nail polish remover, but I personally think this is a lot better. As we are in the colder months I have been sporting much darker nail shades, I find they are much harder to remove and can leave a tinge of colour afterwards. But as soon as I dip my finger inside the sponge, wiggle it about for a few seconds it comes out perfectly clean, with no tinge of colour in sight. It's brilliant because it's so handy to travel with, it saves you taking a load of cotton wool and a big ol' bottle of remover any where you go.

£8

Anastasia Beverly Hills - Contour Kit
I have wanted to get my hands on this much sought after contour kit for absolutely ages, but it was sadly sold out for months and months (as you probably know too!) -  then when an email from Cult Beauty popped in my inbox saying it was back in stock, I was on that site like a shot!.
I'm so glad I purchased it and it's definitely living up to it's hype, I have been loving the banana and fawn shade the most. The banana one is great for brightening and setting the under-eye area and fawn is the perfect shade to create that shadow effect for contouring.

£39 ( I've just checked and I think it has sold out again :( )

Nars - Ita Kabuki Brush
This was another it's-back-in-stock-I-must-buy-it-now purchase. I have wanted this very popular contouring brush for ages too and I was so excited to see it was back on the Nars website. Anything that can make contouring a little easier and more perfected is always woth a try in my book, and this really does just that. Can you tell I'm into contouring yet? bless my big moon head!.
The Nars Ita brush applies colour and blends perfectly, the flat handle and brush head makes it easier to get a more precise contour.

£43

MAC - Lip Liner in Soar
This specific lip liner was made so hard to get hold of thanks to Kim Kardashian's recent interview with the Pixi Woo sisters. In the interview the sisters asked Kim what was that lip shade Kyle Jenner seems to be wearing a lot (everyone wants to know don't they!?) and Kim told them it was the MAC lip liner in Soar all over the lip with nothing else.
Soar is this pretty, deep dusky rose shade and I like to wear this alone, with a little balm underneath as its matte and quite drying. I have been wearing this almost everyday with a simple flick of liquid liner, it don't take too much effort and still looks put together yet pretty.

£12.50

Kerastase - Lait Vital
This is the best conditioner I have tried to date! nothing has made my hair so soft and silky looking. I go this and the shampoo Bain Satin 1 in one of my Look Fantastic beauty boxes, and they are the perfect duo..the Shampoo would have been in the post too but my other half liked them, and kindly finished it off for me (sarcasm much) haha.
It's safe to say I will be re-purchasing these two very soon, they are seriously good!.

£16

Lush - Mint Julips Lip Scrub
I have been using this loads as I have been wearing a matte lip quite a bit recently. Matte lipsticks can cling horribly to dry patches so a good ol scrub with this Lush Mint Julips makes a much better base and makes those lipsticks go on so much smoother and look a load nicer too.
I do have the very popular bubblegum one but found it far too sweet for me,  I much prefer this fresh minty version.

£5.50

What things have you been loving in November? Have you tried any of my favourites? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for reading,
Love Zoe x

  26. I've literally just got my hands on the Anastasia Beverly Hills palette and I'm so glad you love it! Can't wait to try it out. Although I got it for a little less (cheeky!) as I got it from Sephora online. I desperately want to buy the NARS ita brush too! Also Soar looks like such a gorgeous colour.
