One Love Organics - Skin Saviour Waterless Beauty Balm

I received a small sample of this One Love Organics Skin Saviour in a Birchbox a good few months back, I loved it that much I savoured every last drop. I even kept the pot so that I wouldn't forget to re purchase the full size.
I had never heard of the brand One Love Organics since trying it through Birchbox, and this is exactly why I think these beauty boxes are a great concept.. just because you get to discover new products, and brands that you would never have normally come across.

'One Love Organics is a natural, ethical and environmentally driven cosmetics company created by skilled cosmetic artisans. Their products are all hand-made and hand-filled, using only the highest grade of ethically sourced raw materials to ensure the most effective, luxurious and guilt-free application.'

What I like about this brand is that they only use the best quality ingredients, that will work for everyone in your household as its so gentle for all kinds of skin...sometimes it's just best to keep things simple when it comes to skincare.

The One Love Organics Skin Saviour is a multi-purpose (waterless) Beauty Balm, which can be used to tame fly-aways, moisturise dry skin, and be added to a foundation to create a more dewy finish. But what I use it for is a cleanser, and my my is this a good little cleansing balm!
Inside the pretty glass jar is a thick pale yellow balm, when you look inside the jar it looks like it may contain exfoliating beads but once you scoop it out they are just slightly harder bits of balm that give you the most gentle exfoliation but a massive moisture hit at the same time.

I use this mornings and evenings, it works brilliantly at dissolving my makeup at the end of the day, even waterproof makeup and Estee Lauder's Double Wear foundation comes off with more ease than usual.
All I do is apply a tiny amount of Skin Saviour straight onto dry skin, massage it in gently as it turns from a balm into this beautiful luxurious oil. Then once it looks like its breaking down my makeup I use a muslin cloth to rinse it all off.
Afterwards my skin is left feeling amazingly soft, comfortable, thoroughly clean and glowy. This is probably due to the skin loving ingredients that it contains such as Organic Coconut Oil, Sweet Soy Seed Oil, Beeswax, Mango Seed Butter and even Chia Seed Oil...woah now hold on a second ! Chia seed oil?!

When I spotted it contained the superfood Chia Seed oil, it really intrigued me. I found out that One Love Organics also have other products that contain the same ingredient called Chia Whip Cleanser and Supercritical Chia Oil.

Chia Seed Oil is going to be nothing but amazing because it helps dry sensitive skin, it's rich in antioxidants and omega 3 fatty acids, as well as containing a powerful source of Alpha Lipoic Acid which helps minimise fine lines, wrinkles, and enlarged pores, while encouraging healthy cellular function and increasing radiance. It's also clinically proven to significantly increase skin hydration, reduce trans-epidermal water loss and increase skin barrier function in even the driest skin.
This cleanser isn't just your average cleanser, I'd call it a super cleanser thanks to Mr Chia Seed oil making an appearance.
To be honest with you I don't think I've even come across this in a skincare product before...I could be wrong?..feel free to correct me please.

The One Love Organics Skin Saviour has the most beautiful, uplifting, citrus orange scent too - it has to be the nicest smelling cleanser I've EVER tried - it could even be THEE best cleanser I've ever tried to date ... now that's a bold claim for you, but it has a big place in my heart and I couldn't recommend this higher.

Thanks for introducing me to this wonderful cleanser Birchbox!
