Every month I try so hard not to start my monthly favourites with.. woah its favourites time already, but October felt super speedy! - so basically I just said it but in a different way? haha.
My favourites for the month of October are..
Urban Decay - Perversion Mascara and Subversion Eye Lash Primer
I'm not usually too fussy with mascara, when I find a good one I stick to it - unlike most beauty things where I tend to keep buying just to find the next best one *blusher cough cough*.
But recently I have been trying a few more here and there, and this Urban Decay duo is one I have been really impressed with. This is the only time I recall my other half commenting on how huge my lashes look too.
I bought these both in a little value set where you get the full size mascara (Perversion) and a sample size primer (Subversion). After curling my lashes I apply the Subversion primer which adds length and then over the top I add a few coats of the mascara, then boom - huge long fluttery lashes which don't smudge and hold a curl all day...winner winner!

Korres - Wild Rose Advanced Repair Sleeping Facial
I'm not going to say to much on this as I have a full review of this and another Korres AHA mask coming up - which are both pretty fantastic, but this particular one has been treating my skin so well recently.
It works similar to the Origins Drink Up Intensive mask because it sinks into your skin while you sleep. I even think I may prefer the Korres one just because its a lot more comfortable to wear over night.
After using this my skin is much more hydrated and plumper, it also has got rid of any dry patches I've had which is brilliant, perfect for these colder months.
Charlotte Tilbury - Cheek to Chic Blusher in Love Glow
What another Charlotte Tilbury item..me..no!! what can I say, I bloomin love a bit of CT.
When it comes to blusher, I don't think I could ever do my daily makeup without it..im a total blush-a-holic.
I purchased two of Charlotte Tilbury's blushes at the same time, Love Glow and Sex On Fire. Love Glow is a mixture of two shades, the outer ring is a darker rosy pink which you apply to your cheek bones, and the middle is a pale peach/pink which you pop on the apples of your cheeks. This made it to the favourites because it really brightens and gives a youthful look to my face, I think these colours work beautifully together. The finish is amazing, as is the pigment....oh and that signature CT packaging helps.
Nuxe - Reve De Miel Lip Balm
I have had this for absolutely ages and I'm not even near finishing it yet. These last couple of weeks my lips have been feeling real dry thanks to the cold weather and central heating. I have been using this and my Lush lip scrub every night before bed and its been working a treat. Even my partner and son have been using this to fix their chapped lips, it's great for everyone because it goes on completely matte and really hydrates.
It has a very thick consistency which is why I mostly use before bed, but when I wake in the morning I can still feel it on my lips, it's so so good...it also smells like chocolate orange.
Too Faced - Chocolate Bar Palette
Again, I wont say too much on this as it has a whole review of its own, including swatches HERE. I have been using this pretty much every day, its such a versatile palette. I have been using the matte, brown shades the most for an every day look. I used to be more of a shimmery shadow girl but recently I've been loving mattes; so I'm pretty tempted to delve into the Urban Decay naked basics zone - 1 or 2 though?
What things have you been enjoying in the month of October? Have you tried any of my Favourites? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
