September Favourites

This time around I found it extra tricky to pick my favourites, I seemed to have discovered quite a few new things that I have really been enjoying throughout September.
Here are the little gems (and that they are) which made it to my final five - cue XFactor theme tune.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush - Mood Exposure
Hourglass is one of those brands I have been completely lusting over for what feels like a year. I had one of those what-the-heck days and just bought it, and boy am I so glad I did!..It's perfect in every way.
The shade is beautiful, like a dusky rose/mauve which is right up my street, the texture is like velvet and blends like a bloomin' dream. This is going to be amazing in the up coming months and I can honestly say - out of all the crazy amounts of blush I own, there is none like this in my collection.

£28 4.2g

MAC Lipstick - Viva Glam 2 (Satin)
I was on the hunt for the MAC lipstick in Velvet Teddy which seems to be very popular at the moment  and I cant get hold of it anywhere, I explained this to the MUA in MAC and she suggested I tried Viva Glam 2 because it was her favourite and she said will look amazing paired with a fluffy hat, fluttery lashes and berry cheeks...SOLD! (don't take much does it).
As soon as I got home I popped it on and it was love, this is pretty much all I have been picking up for the last few weeks, it's the most beautiful mauve nude ever which gives it that slightly Kylie Jenner 90s vibe.
£15.50

Guerlain Liquid Eyeliner - Noir Ebene
This was purchased after I took to Twitter and asked for help to find an intense black liquid eyeliner that wouldn't transfer on my oily lids, last all day and be easy to control.
So my beauty guru friend Sarah suggested the Guerlain one, she said that she has oily lids too and that it was super black and easy to apply..even with you're feet (not tried this yet Sarah, but I'll take your word for it).
Anything she has recommended me in the past has been spot on so I trusted her on this again, obviously she wasn't wrong as it made its way into my favourites with ease. Thanks Sarah!.
Intense Black, long lasting, smudge proof, and easy to use - along with that gorgeous packaging I think I have finally found 'the one' in liquid liners.
£24.00 5ml

MAC Mineralise Skinfinish - Lightscapade
Buying this was a magpie moment, I spotted it- it looked swish - I bought it. I was running out of my MSF in soft and gentle so I was in two minds to pick that one up instead, but the way Lightscapde has all these pastel peach, blue, pink and gold coloured veining swirling throughout it just really took my fancy that day, like I said magpie moment haha.
It is this really subtle, pale pinkish/beige highlight. I have been reaching for this a lot because it looks so natural when all you want is a minimal makeup look but still want a natural glow to your face. It has no chunky glitter it just gives this beautiful angelic sheen to your face.
The only thing I don't like is the new packaging its in, its so bloody fiddly to open.

£23.00 10g

NIP + FAB - Deep Cleansing Fix
This big ol' tub of cleanser is very multi purpose, you can use it as the cleanser but also as a face mask, overnight treatment and an on-the-spot blemish treatment.
It's very thick cream and has a refreshing Tea Tree / Eucalyptus scent to it, I have been using this in the morning because of its very uplifting scent. I scoop a bit out of the tub and massage it straight onto my dry skin then rinse it off - I find that a lot of spot fighting products leave my skin pretty dry, but not this! its the total opposite. After I use this in the mornings my skin looks bright, refreshed and feels very soft. Since using this my skin seems to be behaving itself finally.
£7.95 300ml

Have you tried any of my favourites? what have you been loving this month?

Thanks for reading,

Love Zoe x
