I have always been a huge Lush fan, I get so excited when their limited edition collections come out - Lush always seem to bring something new to the table which makes bath time so much more fun and exciting. I love how much imagination they put into their products by making the names of them fit so well to the ingredient's / scents and designs.
Their Christmas collections has to be my favourite, as soon as they come out I'm straight in there!
They have such a huge selection, Lush don't do Christmas by half's I tell ya.
Here is what I picked up...
Yog Nog Soap
Doesn't this just look like a yummy piece of cake? that's what I thought when I first spotted it. When I had a whiff of this in the shop it was instantly love, that bad boy was going straight in my basket without even a second thought.
I have tried a fair few Lush soaps like Porridge, Snowcake and Honey I Washed The Kids but none of them are as buttery soft as this one. Its so creamy and smells absolutely delicious - It's a fudgy blend of soya yoghurt, Ylang Ylang, with a dash of festive spice and a dusting of cocoa powder.
This is what Christmas smells like! Lush, could we have a shower gel with this scent too please...and maybe a bath melt?.
Golden Wonder Bath Bomb, Christmas Eve Bubble Bar, Melting Snowman Bath Melt
I bought the Christmas Eve Bubble Bar and the Melting Snowman in last years Christmas release, they where two of my favourites so I was glad to see these again. Golden Wonder bath bomb was also out last year but I never got the chance of trying it, I've heard this one is amazing and gives off a right display in your bath so I'm excited to see what the fuss is about with that one.
Golden Wonder is a huge, golden, glittery, present shaped bath bomb, which has a very uplifting, citrus scent with sweet orange, lime and cognac oils.
Christmas Eve bubble bar has this subtle yet sexy fragrance of Ylang Ylang and Jasmine, when you crumble this moon shaped bubble bar in your running bath your left with heaps of luxurious bubbles..I love this one so much.
The Melting Snowman bath melt has one of my favourite kind of lush scents, its sort of like slightly festively spiced marzipan- it's made with lovely almond oil and cocoa butter which makes it super moisturising too.
Run your bath and pop the cute little snowman in to gradually melt away, even the snowman's eyes are chocolate! your then left with a nice milky, moisturising bath.
Ickle Baby Bot is my little boys favourite bath bomb, they have one of these in their bath pretty much every week as a treat..its the only thing they would go in a bath willingly for. It's great for them before bed as it has calming aromatherapy oils in it which makes them get to the land of nod in no time...this can be used for babies over the age of 6 months so its all safe.
I asked my oldest son Alfie who is three, why he like this bath bomb especially for this post and he said " It makes the bath blue and all fizzy".
So White Shower Gel
I had the So White bath bomb last year and adored the fresh apple scent, so when I spotted a shower gel form of it I was chuffed to say the least.
I popped this in my basket so fast I never realised it had shimmer in it till I got it home, I'm not really a shimmery body products kinda' gal, but oh well it smells flipping gorgeous so I can look beyond that.
I know Snow Fairy is the scent people go crazy for at Christmas time; It's just so sickly sweet for me I can barely stand it, but this Christmassy shower gel is a complete hit for me scent wise - Fresh apple, rose, bergamot and neroil oils makes this so uplifting and fresh.
The Fun range is pretty new to lush, I've never tried it but when I spotted the scent of this...yes! just yes!!
It smells just like my favourite soap Honey I Washed The Kids, that honey/toffee scent...need I say more.
The Fun bars can be used as a shampoo, soap and bubble bar so its quite the multi tasker. I'm not sure if I'd use this in my hair as its gold and glittery although I wouldn't mind my barnet smelling like it to be honest.
These can be moulded into shapes, a bit like you would with play dough..I know Alfie would get a lot of fun out of this one. Plus you get a fair bit so it will last you a good few uses.
Dream Time Bath Melt
If its a relaxing/ de-stressing bath your after, this is the ticket! this is one Lush product I'm always re-purchasing, if your a regular reader, you will all know I'm a sucker for my essential oils and lavender scents in my bath, this has all of that in one gorgeous buttery bath melt.
If you have trouble with sleep I find this helps an awful lot, you may even find yourself nodding off in the tub with it like me, it also helps with aching muscles.
Have you been to Lush recently? What are your favourites? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks for reading,
Love Zoe x
