I think I may be a little late to the bandwagon with this, but I have always heard of how amazing the Greek brand Korres is; people always seem to be raving about their little pots of lip butters, and I'm ashamed to say I have actually never even tried one, till now.
I never realised how much of a makeup selection they had till I started roaming their website, Korres have everything from nail polish, to foundation with a fantastic shade range to boot.
So when I got the chance to try some Korres makeup for myself I was delighted - I was kindly sent two lip butters in Pomegranate and Jasmine, Mandarin Lip Butter Stick in rose and a Volcanic Minerals Long Lasting Eyeliner in Grey.
Korres Lip Butter - Pomegranate and Jasmine
I can now see what the fuss is about with these lip butters. They have 6 gorgeous tints to choose from, along with the most beautiful buttery texture and Vanilla scent..i think the packaging of these little pots are great too, the lid colour represents the butter shade inside, which makes selection easier.
These aren't gloopy or sticky what-so-ever which is what I look for in a tinted balm. They really feel like they moisturise and not just act as a barrier, this must be down to the lovely Shea butters and rice wax it contains.
I'm not a fan of lip glosses but if I fancy a bit of a sheen on the lips, I pop one of these lip butters over my lipstick, it works wonderfully and keeps my lips moisturised at the same time..Bonus!.
These are also brilliant when you are in a bit of a hurry and fancy a wash of colour on your lips, purely because you don't have to be as careful with applying it. Amazing if your on the go!.
I have been using these constantly on those early morning pre-school runs (that I'm trying to get used to haha), just so I look a little less shabby and more awake.

When I have fancied a minimal makeup look, I have used the Jasmine lip butter along with a little flick of Korres Volcanic Minerals Eyeliner in grey on my upper lash line- the subtle pink lip and not so drastic usual black liner just works perfectly together.

Mandarin Lip Buttter Stick - Rose
If your a little funny with sticking your finger in a lip butter pot, then the stick form is for you. I love the way this one is packaged, it has a Greek design to it which obviously ties in with the brand itself, then once you pop the lid off, it has this text around it showing the main ingredients such as sunflower wax, Shea butter and Mandarin oil.
I adore this shade, when I wear this I feel very snow white esq. This one comes out as a very sheer, true red, I'm usually pretty scared of wearing red lipsticks so I think this is a great alternative. Like the other lip butters I mentioned, its just as amazing and moisturising - pretty much the same, just in a stick form.

Volcanic Minerals Long Lasting Eyeliner - Grey
I have never been one to use eyeliners, but recently I have been picking up a few. I have just been putting it on my upper lash line and smudging out a little, I've been loving this look recently!
I would usually opt for a dark brown liner if I wanted to go for a more natural look; never would I have thought about trying a dark, Smokey grey shade, but it really does work if you don't want something as intense as a black.
The Volcanic Minerals Eye Liner has one of the creamiest formulas I've come across, it glides on the eyes effortlessly without any pulling and tugging. It lasts pretty much all day on my horrendously oily lids which is frankly amazing..I'm really impressed with this and I quite fancy trying some of the other shades they have.
