The Bathory - Soothe Bath Soak

No pamper night is complete without that luxury, relaxing bath experience - I'm sure you'll all agree with me.
I have to have at least one pamper session a week just relax and take some much needed me time when my little ones are sleeping. I will grab a glass of wine (because #winenot haha..had to be done sorry), pop on a face mask, light a nice candle, and run my bath with my most favourite new find...The Bathory Soothe Bath Soak.
This made its way into my August Favourites post, but it really deserves one all of its own.

The concept behind The Bathory is fantastic yet so simple, you can make your own custom bath soak by choosing between three different salt mixes..
Bask - Is packed with three, luxurious mineral salts.
Soothe - Is made with hydrating Oatmeal, Honey and Buttermilk.
Detox - Has pure Epsom salts and Rhassoul clay to draw out toxins.

Once you have chosen your salt mix you then have to choose three organic essential oils from a choice of ten..
Bergamot - The Uplifting one
Chamomile - The Calming one
Eucalyptus -  The Reviving one
Frankincense - The Spicy one
Grapefruit - The Inspiring one
Lavender - The Relaxing one
Lemon - The Zingy one
Rosemary - The Magical one
Sandalwood - The Exotic one
Ylang Ylang - The Sexy one

I have only just recently been getting into my essential oils so I have no clue about mixing them and what oils compliment what, but The Bathory have made it so simple - once you click on the "more info" button for the essential oil you fancy it explains what it smells like, what it goes with and how it makes you feel -  this is such a great idea for people like me.

For my bath time experience I chose the Soothe Bath Salts along with Bergamot, Chamomile and Lavender.

I went for soothe just because Oatmeal, Honey and Buttermilk just sound too good to pass up, plus I love me some hydrating products.
I chose Bergamot, Chamomile and Lavender because I wanted to make a nice calming and relaxing scent.
Once I had finished creating my order I had it with me 2 days later..i couldn't wait to start my pamper session that day.
It came beautifully packaged, in a lovely looking brown paper type bag with the information on what ingredients you chose.
Then inside is the sleek glass jar that would look gorgeous in anyone's bathroom, along with a little card that shows you how you can re-use the jar once you have used up all your salts.

Then when it comes to using the Soothe bath salts all I did was run my bath as I normally would, and shake in a lid full - it says on the back you can put in half of the jar for "full benefits" or the whole jar for "the best bath of your life", now for the price of £18 I cant really justify chucking the lot in as I want it to last me... nor would I even put half of it in to be honest.

I think a lid full is just fine you get a nice aroma fill your bathroom and it still lovely and relaxing, but obviously if you want more of a kick, pop some more in.
The Soothe bath salts come in more of a creamy colour powdered form, I was half expecting them to be more like actual rock salts, but I guess this is because of the beautiful hydrating ingredient's that's inside, as it makes your bath turn a milky shade.

I find that when I pop this in my bath I automatically get that AAHHHH that's better feeling (you know what I'm saying right?!) - its so comforting and the best thing right before bed.
It makes me drop off so much easier, and it really does leave my skin lovely and hydrated.
I think these would make brilliant gifts for people too- making someone a customised bath treat that looks this special is bound to go down well.

You can make your very own bath experience HERE for £18.00
