July Favourites

I found it super difficult to think of just a few beauty favourites this month as I have been loving so many. Here is what products made it to the final cut and shone through for me in the month of July.

Anastasia - Dip Brow Pomade - Dark Brown & Louise Young - LY37 Angled Brow Brush
I was recommended this by so many people over on Twitter, it seems to have such a huge fan base I caved and bought it.. just to see what the fuss was; well that and the fact I am a total brow obsessive! I had to look through blogs to find swatches, as I knew it would be a toss up between the shade Chocolate or Dark Brown, I opted for the shade Dark Brown as Chocolate looked a bit to warm toned for me.
As soon as I got this in the mail I wiped all my makeup off especially to give it a go ..yes I'm an eager beaver! I Applied it using the Louise Young LY37 angled brow brush and wow it was a match made in heaven. I couldn't believe how beautifully it glided on and by using the LY brush it added those teeny- hair- like strokes with ease and everything was a lot more precise and sharp.
Doing my brows in the morning has honestly never been easier, I love everything about it, the colour, the texture and how well it lasts, its just flipping fantastic and deserves the cult status surrounding it.
I cant see myself without it!

Bourjois - Volume 1 Seconde Mascara
After reading about this on the lovely Abbie's blog A Beautiful Delight, I had literally just ran out of my beloved Max Factor Volume Excess mascara so decided to pick this up and give it a shot seen as Abbie made it sound so amazing.
I've never really been a fan of Bourjois mascaras so I didn't know what to expect really, but one swipe of this on my lashes I knew I was onto a winner. I was so amazed I had to send Abbie a text just to say..yeah your right its unbelievable..it excited me that much haha!
It gave me so much volume, length and separation without any smudges or flaking what-so-ever, it didn't even need layer after layer to achieve a long fluttery look, I highly recommend this. Check out Abbie's full review here.

Benefit Rockateur Blush
This just had to be included in my favourites, I have already reviewed this here so I wont go into too much detail. This beautiful rose gold blush is all I have seem to be picking up right now, I love the way it instantly perks up my face making me look more awake and fresh.

GlamGlow Supermud Face Mask
I have been eyeing this product up for what seems like forever, after spotting that GlamGlow started to sell little try me kits that included two samples of all their masks I decided to get one purely to see if it was worth that hefty price tag..well what d'ya know, that same night I went online and got myself the full size, I was just that impressed with it. Even my other half got some out the little sachet and commented on how nice it made his skin.
Its brilliant for clearing your face and can be used as a spot treatment too, its a clay mask that smells slightly like liquorice and when it starts to dry you can actually see all the excess oils and muck being pulled out of your pores..pretty gross but cool at the same time. When I washed it off after the first application my pores looked visibly smaller and much cleaner,I had zero blackheads and my spots had majorly reduced in size.
I could go on forever about this fantastic mask, but I'll leave it short 'n' sweet as I want to do a full review at some point.

At the moment it is £34.99 on Lookfantastic.com RRP £49.99

Origins - GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream £23.00
This eye cream is fast becoming my holy grail for my morning skincare routine, its just brilliant! when I apply this in the mornings it feels so soothing and refreshing, not to mention how amazingly this brightens up the whole eye area..its like sleep in a jar. I seriously don't know why it took me so long to buy this, I can see myself re-purchasing this forever.ahhh its love!

What are your stand out products for July? Have you tried any of these products? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks For Reading,

Love Zoe x

  9. I really want to try Glamglow and the Dipbrow. I think I'll be picking up the dipbrow soon (same shade as you I think) and I might even get the brush you use - I have no brow brushes... Glamglow sounds so so so good, but the price just puts me off a wee bit :( x

  15. Great post! I have tried the black version of the GlamGlow and am really enjoying it. I just got a sample pot because I wasn't ready to commit to the hefty price tag. The white one isn't available in Australia it seems so I may have to order it online.

I totally agree with you on the Anastasia Dip Brow! I have mine in dark brown too and it's been a total saviour for me. I used to use a brow pencil but now I know that good looking brows are done with this baby!! I get so many compliments on my brows now because they look so natural and defined with this dip brow! LOVE

  19. I love Rockateur blush, it has such a pretty sheen to the colour which makes it look as if you are wearing highlighter, when you are only wearing the blush
