I find myself constantly raving about this Max Factor Excess Mascara all the time, and i think its about time i wrote a post on this absolute gem. (I'm not exaggerating..trust me;))
I have the worst, short -yet -straight eyelashes ever so mascara is a must otherwise i look as if i have none and its quite a weird sight, i tell ya! I always seem to be looking out for the next best mascara that promises the world..length,volume, separation..heck arnt we all? I have tried so many on the market and none have floated my boat as much as this one, and here's why..
After curling my lashes i use step 1 of the double ended mascara this gives me instant volume, length and perfect lash separation, usually it takes so many coats of a mascara to get the length i want, then by that time they are a big clumpy mess.. spider lashes anyone?

Step 1 |
The Brush on Step 1 is quite a chunky one, but i find it grabs every single lash easily and gives the best separation right from the root to give maximum lift.
On to Step 2 of the mascara, this is what makes the lashes darker, stand out more and give that extra special finish to your fluttery lashes, the wand on step 2 of the mascara is a bit smaller and has more of a point to it..this just makes it easier to get those teeny tiny corner lashes without getting product all over your eye.

Step 2 |
This is my third tube of the stuff and i don't even look around for the next best one anymore i just keep going straight to this. It doesn't flake at all during the day and gives me everything i want in a mascara ...its love! i even have people ask me what mascara i use now, and I've never had that.

Wearing Max Factor's Excess Volume Mascara |
What would be even better though, is a waterproof version because sometimes if you get a bit sweaty you can have a little transfer on your cheek or upper eye .ha ha! but i wouldn't class it as a major problem..i can cope with that.
It can also be a little hard to remove at night but I'm used to that as i used to use a waterproof mascara anyway.
You can get it from most shops that stock Max Factor, i got mine from from Boots for £12.99
So what do you think? have you tried this mascara? what is your favourite mascara?
Thanks For Reading,
Love Zoe x
