Benefit - Watts Up! (Review)

Benefit Watts Up! is a beautiful ,champagne coloured cream highlighter and has been on my wish list for what seems like a lifetime, i kept putting it off because of the steep price tag at £24.50 but my inner beauty addict kept telling me i needed to give it a go nagging away at me till i clicked purchase..i had to stop the nagging didn't i ;).

Benefit's Description
"Our Delicate champagne sheer highlighter smoothes on a sweet glow that's gorgeous. With a cream-to-powder finish..its a switch-on "wow" for all complexions. Flattery operated, you ll adore the smooth applicator & luminous sheen."

Excuse the scratches on the box :(

I'm so glad i finally took the plunge and bought this highlighter and here's why i think its worth the pennies ££...

Firstly the packaging, seriously though ..how cool does it look, its so unique and not like anything else i own, it  looks like a little metallic purple light bulb, its so fitting of the name too don't you think?
When you take the top cap off  all you have to do is twist the base to reveal the beautiful highlighter stick, you get 9.4g of product which is actually a fair bit so you get your moneys worth out of it.

Wound all the way up to show how much product you get - disclaimer- i have used this a fair few times and its hardly gone down.

I think this particular highlighter would be perfect for the summer months, purely because of how beautiful it looks swiped over your cheekbones with a tan or a bit of bronze, also the fact that its a cream-to-powder finish too so it sits nicely on the skin and wont budge if you get a bit of a "sweaty Betty" in the summer like me!..mmm yummy zoe!
All i do is dab a clean finger around the top of the stick and pat it on the highest points of my cheeks, my cupids bow and maybe a little in my brow arch then blend, blend, blend, this leaves me with the most gorgeous, healthy sun-kissed glow i just love it!

The only thing i don't really get is the sponge applicator at the bottom, i gave it a go but its just not working for me id rather use my fingers or my beauty blender, so I'm ignoring that for now.

The Sponge Applicator

I find that it lasts ages on the skin, i never have to re-apply it you do really have to blend the product in because it can cling to dry patches slightly and you don't want any tell tale lines!
This highlighter doesn't have tons of glitter just a nice, soft and ever so teeny bit of shimmer to it to give that perfect glow.

Top swatched heavily - Bottom swatched heavily then slightly blended.
I bought mine from Look Fantastic HERE for £24.50

Have you tried Benefit Watts Up! ? , What are your thoughts? Whats your favourite Highlighter?

 Thanks For Reading
