Firstly i would just like to put it out there that i have not been paid to do this post by Birchbox or anything, i just want to share with you my overall thoughts on this brilliant beauty box.
I have been a monthly subscriber to Birchbox now for 8 months, i joined after not being too happy with another Beauty Box brand i was with (and i was only with them for 2 months).
After constantly seeing Birchbox Beauty Boxes pop up on my instagram feed and how fab they looked, i decided to cancel my old box and join Birchbox, and boy I'm so glad i did !
People are constantly asking me about Birchbox on Instagram so i thought it would be a good post idea..
My first box was amazing especially because i received a Laura Mercier Vanilla Ambre Body Butter, and Ive always wanted to give something from that body range a go..i savoured every last drop i tell ya and i know i shall be picking this up again.
I can honestly say i have not received a bad box like i did with the other brand, they deliver what i ... and most people probably expect from a beauty box (good sized, high end product samples with the occasional full sized item). Another important thing has got to be the delivery and customer service, they are on point with this too..when i get my dispatch email, my order is usually with me the day after. From what i have seen over instagram Birchbox always seem to be pretty interactive with their customers, they hold little competitions to win bits using #birchboxbrag which is great incentive.
Me Being a slight insta addict, posted that i loved this Jane Iredale lip and cheek stain that i got in one of their boxes and nice enough they re-grammed the picture on their instagram, then in that up coming months box i found my insta picture again on one of their information cards that they send out in all the boxes..this was such a lovely touch i thought.

Just to name a few brands Birchbox have worked with.. Laura Mercier, Benefit, Aromatherapy Associates, Liz Earle, Eyeko, Phillip Kingsley, The Balm.
What You Get
In your box you get a cute little pull string bag with the contents inside which is usually 5 + items and sometimes included in the boxes you get a lifestyle item such as Tea, Chocolate, Popcorn which is a nice little bonus along with a description card on your monthly items and other information cards.
The Website and Birchbox points
If you go on the Birchbox website (i will link at the end of the post) they have tutorials and blog posts on the featured items of that months box which is a great little touch, and one of the best bits is..(drum roll please)... the Birchbox points scheme!! its a brilliant idea, basically for every 100 points you save its equal to £10 that your free to spend on their online shop, you can earn points by spending on their e-shop or simply by filling out the monthly surveys on each of the products you receive in your box (each survey earns 5 points).
I recently bought Benefit Brow Zings on the Birchbox shop and it didn't cost me a penny, it just makes buying those higher priced goodies you've always wanted to buy a little bit easier..Thanks Birchbox!
Check it out for yourself here LINK and a monthly subscription costs £12.95 PM including postage and packaging.
So if your considering a beauty box id definitely give Birchbox a go.
Thanks for reading,
