EOS and Hurraw Lip Balm's

Hey lovelies,
A few weeks back i was looking online for an EOS lip balm, ive seen them popping up every now and again throughout blogs and youtube, and as a balm addict i knew i had to get my hands on them, i eventually found them on CutECOsmetics  link
Let me tell you this site holds every lip balm flavour under the roof (aswell as other lovely cosmetics) !, so i picked up EOS lip balm in Summer Fruits and a Hurraw lip balm in lime.

EOS Summer fruits -
This is lovely ! i love the unique shape of this, its really quirky, looks kind of the the inside of a kinder egg, ( my mum mistook it for that even though its red ;/ )  I cant stop using it the scent is amazing ...just like summer fruits ! i now want to try the rest of the range.

The lid twists off this and reveals a dome of lip balm inside, how different is this to your regular lip balm...i love it!
Its also made with Shea butter and jojoba oil to make your lips lovely and soft,
A few other good things about this balm ...
  • Packed with vitamin E
  • Gluten-free
  • Paraben-free
  • Petrolatum-free
  • Phthalate-free
  • Organic
Hurraw Lime Lip Balm
This brand have so many flavoured lip balms it was hard to choose, i decided to get my fiance one as he always pinches mine so i got him the lime one, and it smells delish very zesty and summery.
This again is quite unusual as its kind of oval shaped packaging.

My fiance really likes this one as some are a bit girly for him as they can have a bit of a gloss and this ones not heavily glossed just a little sheeny maby, i must say I've had a few swipes of this and it makes your lips feel like silk i would defiantly buy again and try some new flavours.
oh and i nearly forgot to mention its also organic...good times!

It was the first time I've used the CuteECOsmetics website and i must say i was impressed, it was free delivery and they came very quick! Bonus!

I have just checked out their site again and have seen some new additions of Korres lip butters I've wanted to try these for ages!

Have you tried any of these balms? Whats your favourite lip balm? Any recommendations?

Butters,Scrubs And A Whole Lotta Love..

Hello lovely people,
Hope your all well...all this lovely weather has beckoned me to whip out the body scrubs and yummy smelling body butters, so i thought i would share with you some of my favourites at the moment.

Top to Bottom
  • NIP+FAB- Coconut Latte Body Butter
  • Soap and Glory -The Breakfast Scrub
  • Bodyshop - Brazil Nut Body Scrub
  • Bodyshop - Coconut Body Butter
So as you can see im a sucker for the rich smelling stuff rather than the fruity ones, i do love zesty scents in the summer though i am thinking of getting one the Bodyshops Lemon scented products and you cant beat Original Source's Lime Shower Gel ... i love that stuff!

So here are the Body Butters
 L-R NIP+FAB - Coconut Latte, Bodyshop's Coconut Body Butter

As you can tell i love coconut scents! it just makes me think of summer and sitting on a beach somewhere hot, don't you think?
NIP + FAB's Coconut Latte Body Butter
I bought this one from boots and the name sold me coconut latte ....yum! when i went to use this i was surprised as it was not as thick of a concistancy as i imagined a body butter to be, it was more in between a body butter and lotion but i love it none the less,
it smells mostly of coconuts and very little of the latte it just gives it a bit of richness to it. it also makes my skin so soft and it sinks into the skin so easily without feeling oily.

Bodyshop Coconut Body Butter
This one i have been using for years, it has also got to be one of my favourite body butters that the Bodyshop sell, i would say it was a classic from them as many people have and love this as much as me, its also what i expect a body butter to be.. thick and luxurious..by the looks of things i need to get more as im running pretty low.

L-R NIP + FAB body butter , Bodyshop body butter
As you can see the NIP + FAB butter is lighter than the bodyshops one.

And here are the scrubs

L-R Bodyshop-Brazil Nut Body Scrub, Soap and Glory Breakfast Scrub

Bodyshop's Brazil Nut Body Scrub
I got this scrub a few weeks back because it was only £5 on offer and i really liked the smell, it smells quite almondy to me, this one is more of a creamy consistency than the other, this scrub includes...exfoliating primrose seeds, crushed walnut and cocoa butter pretty nice combo..

Soap and Glory's The Breakfast Scrub
This one smells AMAZING!!good enough to eat (but don't, this wont be a good idea) as soon as i had a whiff of this it had to be mine, it smells just like maple syrup..yum
Its a really lovely scrub it does the trick, and after i use this my skin is amazingly soft, this is my first tub of this and i will buy again!
It has so many lovely ingredients such as... Oats, Shea Butter, Organic Cupuacu, bananas, almond and honey extracts..i see why its called the Breakfast scrub!

L-R Bodyshop's Brazil Nut Scrub, S+G's Breakfast Scrub

If anyone would like a more in depth review of any of the above products let me know :)

Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts? What are your favourite scrubs and butters?

L'Oreal Colour Riche Nail Polishes (Swatches)

Hello lovelies, hope your all having a fab week!
Hopefully i have some new and exciting things to share with you all soon :)
So as promised here is the rest of my L'Oreal Colour Rich nail polishes for you to have a look at,(as mentioned on my previous blog post here
The colours i have for you today are...
  • Blue Reef 613 - Which is a lovely teal blue colour
  • Boudoir Rose 204 - Which is a really special rose pink
  • Metropolitan 604 - which is a nice grey colour
l-r   Metropolitan, Blue Reef, Boudior Rose

  And here they are swatched

l-r Metropolitan, Boudoir Rose, Blue Reef
L-R Blue Reef, Boudoir Rose, Metropolitan
I really enjoy wearing the nail polishes from this collection, my favourite shade is still the one i previously did a review about and that was the Perle De Jade one here
Out of the 3 above id say i prefer the Rose Boudoir, just because i own alot of pink polishes but nothing like that one, if it makes sense its like a classier shade of pink...
its a bit more muted, i had alot of people ask me what polish i was wearing when i had that on.
The Metropolitan grey colour i got just because i only own 1 other grey shade by Barry M and that's a bit darker than this one and i did want one a little lighter.
I got the Blue Reef one because i love teal colours ... just plain and simple :) i do think though this is more of a winter shade as its quite dark.

With this collection there are so many lovely shades and colours its hard to choose i hope my swatches have helped a bit..

The brushes on these polishes are really handy as they are flat and rounded off at the end, so its easy to get to the bottom of your nail, price wise i don't think they are too bad at £4.99 from boots and currently on 3 for 2.

What colours do you like best ? have you tried any from this range? whats your favourite polish?

L'Oreal Colour Riche Nail Polish - Perle De Jade

Hello my lovely people, I have been slacking a bit on the old blog posts I'm afraid, but I'm back on it now :).. i have just been awfully busy!
So i got a load of the new L'Oreal Colour Riche Nail polishes to show you all starting with the colour  Perle De Jade 602

This is by far my favourite shade of the collection, its a lovely minty green which can lean blueish in certain lights like the picture above shows, its the perfect spring colour too i always usually opt for a mint green polish around this time of the year, but this one looks a bit special.

It has really good staying power...well for me anyway... it lasted for about4-5 days without chipping and it applies nicely, the brush is a nice shape too as its flat and oval shaped so it goes nicely to the bottom of the nail.
I really like the new L'Oreal colour riche nail polishes, there are so many shades out aswell the sell at about £4.99 at boots currently on 3 for 2 so get in there quick.

At the moment i have a slight obsession with nail polishes i have currently been eyeing up some Essie, Nubar, China Glaze and Orly polishes as i have yet still to try anything from those brands and I'm really curious, its just their are so many colours its hard to choose...so if any of you lovely people have a polish from these brands you love feel free to comment and let me know it will be much appreciated.

Have you tried any of the L'Oreal Colour Rich Nail Polishes? What do you think?
